In Poland, the struggle with debtors has been going on for years. In June 2017, the law came into force, according to which parents who do not keep their children are threatened with up to two years of deprivation of liberty. However, this penalty can be avoided if we repay the entire debt within 30 days of the first hearing. Where to get such a sum, however? And is it possible that online loans help pay off maintenance?

Although since the entry into force of the new provisions on alimonies, the recovery of these debts has improved slightly (from 19.2% to 23%), it is rare for a debtor to pay enough to pay all the debt accumulated. And here we talk about quite specific sums. According to the report of the Credit Information Bureau “Debtor of the maintenance” from August 2017, the average value of the obligation due to unpaid maintenance per one maintenance debtor is currently 35 383 PLN. Is it possible to regulate such a debt at all?

A person indebted for unpaid maintenance is listed in the credit and business information offices as well as in the debtors’ registers. This means that a parent with a maintenance debt can not count on a loan from the bank to whom he would pay the dues within the prescribed 30 days. A maintenance debtor with a negative credit history will also be rejected in most non-banking loan companies.

However, there are lenders who provide online loans even to indebted persons listed in the debtors’ registers. Usually, however, these companies require some sort of security – for example, a giver guaranteeing the person or recognizing the lender as a co-owner of the car. The best solution will be an installment loan provided by a proven online company, where installments are paid monthly. Its cost will be high, but you will be sure that it is a reliable and honest lender.

…. you have to be very careful when leaving one debt, do not fall into the next. Loans for indebted households exist and help pay off maintenance, which will certainly benefit the child. It is worth asking for such a loan, but the most important is to regularly pay it off – criminal interest and additional payments for late payment may hurt, and the debt will grow to even larger sizes. So, answering the question posed in the title: yes, online loans help settle overdue maintenance, but remember that they certainly do not save them in further payment.
